How It Works

1. Base Layer (CyberTuner): Start with validated, high-quality patterns from CyberTuner dataset
2. Pattern Detection: Extract and validate patterns (comma fractions, structural types) from base temperaments
3. Hybrid Matching: Match temperaments using either pattern-based matching OR multiset interval matching (comparing collections of thirds and fifths regardless of circle-of-fifths position)
4. Pattern Application: Apply these validated patterns to find related temperaments across all datasets
5. Tree Building: Build a family tree showing how temperaments relate through pattern and multiset matching
6. Fractal Verification: Verify relationships at multiple levels (direct children, grandchildren, etc.)

This creates a hierarchical structure where validated patterns from CyberTuner serve as the foundation, and relationships are discovered through pattern matching and multiset interval matching (histogram-based comparison of thirds and fifths collections) in a tree-like, fractal manner.
